For location shoots, the process is as follows:

It takes Rich 45 minutes to an hour to assemble the “studio” and adjust the lighting before he can start taking photos. He can then photograph people at 15-minute intervals.

His headshots include taking 20 or more images to choose from. His camera transmits the images to an iPad while he shoots, so you can go through them and ensure there are some that you’re happy with. If you’d like him to take more images, he will. There is no limit to the number of photos he’ll take as long as time permits.

After the shoot (usually within 24 hours), Rich adjusts all images for brightness, contrast, and skin tones. Then, he posts proofs to a private website where the favorite photo of each person can be chosen.  

Retouching is optional but highly recommended. Rich removes blemishes, brightens and whitens teeth, removes frown lines, lightens and softens wrinkles and dark areas under the eyes, brightens the eyes, often improves the fit of the clothes, and more. You’ll look like you just came back from a relaxing vacation.

Assuming everyone is available during the same half-day session, the price for the photography and post-production of up to eight people photographed with the same background is $1200 within the Metro-Philadelphia region. Retouching is optional and is $75 per image.

If you’re not delighted with how things are going, you can walk away without owing a dime. (It’s never happened.)
